WINDRUSH GENERATION IN KENT AND MEDWAY CONTINUING THEIR LEGACY
Medway African and Caribbean Association (MACA) and the Windrush Project Steering group have organised a mini exhibition that tells the story of the “Windrush generation” and the contribution of Black communities since Windrush in a mini exhibition and series of activities taking place at the Chatham Historic Dockyard in Chatham, Kent
The exhibition opens to the public on Saturday 2nd November, commencing with a MACA Saturday school experience. The rest of the month features storytelling, A talk on Windrush, as well as a lecture with Martin Forde QC on the Windrush scandal, and his work with victims of the scandal.
The exhibition and workshops are all free and suitable for all ages. You can sign up here of just drop in !
